Product Description: When children press the top of this very special Sit 'N Spin, they're treated to music and lights. Each time they press they'll hear 1 of 6 classic children's songs like "Rockin' Robin," "Polly Wolly Doodle," and "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain" just to name a few. Or for quiet play, children can just hold the wheel as they spin. Requires 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included). Some assembly required. Editorial Review: This classic is still spinnin' after all these years--and now it's better than ever. The Sit 'n Spin we all know and love has been spruced up for the new millennium with flashing lights and fun tunes. Just press any of the four buttons on the handle, and you're spinning to one of six classic tunes. Sure, it may be a little snazzier than you remember (thanks to the new colors), but the goal remains the same: hours of dizzying enjoyment. Your kids will love taking this whirling wonder for a spin just as much as you'll enjoy watching them. Requires three AA batteries and a Phillips screwdriver for assembly (not included). --Melissa Wilson

Customer Reviews Could have been a 5 * but.... I remember enjoying these as a kid and our family had one for years. When some gave us this one I thought it was pretty neat but WOAH is that music LOUD, there is no volumn control and while I'm not a prude and want only quiet toys, contrary, I want toys that will stimulate young minds so I don't mind noise but this thing IS LOUD! So I put some tape over the 2 speakers (LOOKS like there are 4 but music only comes from 2) I put tape over the speakers and wah-la just the right volume now.
But I read why people rated this negatively. And I am glad, I thought it was just my imagination---but it's TRUE, this must be smaller than the original version I grew up with. At 18 months I tried to help my daughter spin on it yet for her to sit on it her chest would rub the steering wheel.
By 2 she could spin it herself but would risk a tumble with each turn as she tried to balance herself on the small base and still manuever the steering wheel.
A big turnoff is portability. To pick this up and move it you have to hold the bottom end otherwise it falls off the handle, perhaps it was meant to screw in and ours is missing a screw?
Anyway, if someone wants to buy one cheap then I know where you can get one haha.

Customer Reviews worth the buzz Balance bikes have gotten a lot of hype in the past year, and our experience has been that they're deserving. My son got this for his 4th birthday, and with only occasional practice, is now riding on his own just two months later! We were very surprised at the quick progress, and are very pleased with our decision to purchase a balance bike. That this one will convert to a regular bike was a huge money-saving plus.

Customer Reviews design flaw could be improved This was the only glider/pedal combination bike I could find that was set up to work this way. I didn't want to get training wheels for my 4 year old because I find them unstable. This way she can learn to balance and then go straight to pedals. Another benefit is that she can push it around in the backyard on the grass, which she wouldn't be able to do with training wheels. She loves it and I think we will add the pedals before the end of this summer. One issue-the white plastic cover on the gears scrapes against the rear wheel, slowing it down and scratching the plastic wheel cover. I even took it to a bike store to see if they could take it apart and put it back together better than I did, but not much luck. It seems to be a design flaw of the bicycle. If I had known this I may have opted to buy a regular bike and just have a bike shop take the pedals and gears off until she had her balance. A glider can be made with any bike just by doing that. So unless they fix this design flaw I would buy a different bike instead and just turn it into a glider for a while. Probably more difficult to detach and attach, but the construction of this casing around the gears just doesn't fit correctly.

Customer Reviews Doesn't spin. Obnoxious music. I purchased this for our 1 yr old and 3 yr old and it's horrible. The 3 yr old can barely even get it to spin and the 1 yr old loves to push the buttons to make the obnoxious music play (with no volume control). They still love to sit on it together and try and make it spin though. Nothing like my memories of spinning till I was sick as a child.

Customer Reviews Great Bike! Got this bike for my 5yr old who is a huge Transformers fan, and it was a hit! The overall quality of the bike is excellent, the only negatives were that it didn't come with any reflectors and the rear fender and hand guards are a little cheap and don't expect them to last long. We did not find the bike to be overly heavy, and my son is very small for his age, has no problems pedaling up hill or anything. We went for a 1+ mile ride the other evening with no issues.

Product Description: It's 2 toys in 1! As a sturdy, stable walker, the Step Start Walk 'n Ride toy helps babies learn to stand, take their first steps, and walk. As the grow older, it easily converts to a first ride-on toy! It has a locking mechanism that only parents can activate, so children can't change modes by themselves. Kids can explore the hands-on activities in both the walker and ride-on modes to see fascinating sights, hear silly sounds and touch interesting textures. Adult assembly required Editorial Review: When little wobblers are bored with walls and sofa edges, and there's no one to offer a hand, they can two-foot it safely across that open ocean of living-room floor with the help of the Step Start walker. This dual-purpose toy acts as stable support as they learn to walk, then lets them roll along when they want to ride. Once they are secure on their legs, the walker converts easily to a first ride-on toy. (Only adults can operate the wheel-lock mechanism.) A flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear, and other sight-touch-sound features provide sit-down play fun. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver. --Ava Natov

Customer Reviews Great little walker I have 3 kids - a 5 1/2 year old boy and twin 15 month old girls. I sort of expected my girls to do everything at the same time my son had done things, which would have meant walking at 12 months. They didn't.
It seemed like they were in the "tentative steps" stage forever without getting on to actually walking. One baby was doing better than the other and had been stuck in this stage longer. I remembered my son had a Radio Flyer walker wagon as a baby and wondered if that had helped. We still have it, but it needs some serious elbow grease to be used again (it got left in the rain... now it's in pieces, I thought I would refinish it some day... yeah, some day.)
So I bought one of these. One baby took to it IMMEDIATELY. I have never seen a baby go so crazy for a toy. She would just zip around the first floor of our house happy as can be. It's great that it is light weight so that even though the wheels are not able to swivel, the baby can sort of "float" the whole thing to make turns. But it's sturdy, too - there is a hump in the floor to get into our kitchen and she always gets stuck at this hump. I tried pushing down on the handle bar to raise the front wheel and this thing will not tip. I know someone else complained of tippiness but ours does not tip, not even when you want it to!
After a few weeks of this my baby is walking all over the place. Whether that was coincidence or if this gave her the push she needed, I don't know. I do know she loves this toy, though. It's great exercise for her, too. Even now that she is walking on her own she still loves zipping around behind this.
My other baby didn't care for it as much - she was the better walker when I first got this, and now her sister has passed her up big time. I think there really is something to this helping them polish up that walking skill. Gives them confidence and so on.
The activities on the toy aren't too entertaining which is actually a good thing. A friend of mine has a much busier FP walker and the babies get distracted by the toys, don't even use it as a walker.
I am not sure what I think of the ride-on feature of this yet. We actually briefly had one of these when my son was a baby because I wanted the ride-on car - but he was too tall by the time we got it, or so I thought. Now, much to my annoyance, he keeps turning this back into a car and riding around on it - and he's one of those absurdly tall 5 year olds so he's more like a 7 year old. So even though as a ride on toy this looks super tiny and useless - maybe kids can make do. My babies aren't at the ride-on stage yet, though.
Overall I highly recommend this. Not all kids will love it but for the price it's great to try. It goes together easily and holds up very well - plastic is rain-proof. :-)
